Day 88 - FOUNDATION STONES IN A YEAR
Reading: Hebrews 2: 10 – 18;Galatians 3: 26 - 29
But wait...there’s more! It sounds like a corny TV commercial but it’s true. Not only was our sinful self crucified with Christ on the cross and our born-again self raised to newness of life in his resurrection – we have also been made sons of God.
And as the children of God we enjoy great privileges now and have a glorious destiny to look forward to. As sons of God, the spirit of sonship has been given to us, so that right now we can call out Abba Father and live by the power of the Holy Spirit. We have access, by faith, to all the blessings promised to Abraham.
We are heirs, together with Christ, of the eternal kingdom of God.
Prayer
I need greater and deeper understanding of my sonship. Teach me Lord.
